These sound sculptures consist of structured pitch sets that create moving shapes and contours emulating shapes and atmospheres of visual environments. 1. Panorama sets a soundscape of shapes panned by the ear, 2. Fashion Manniquins evokes an atmosphere of the cocktail piano and the fashion show that often surrounds it, 3. Mobiles, hanging from a string, twist and turn to the whims of balance and air currents while casting their own shapes with light and shadow, 4. Easter Island has its ancient sculptures which evoke an air of mysterious history and suspense, 5. Motion Machine grabs the pulse and drives it with jagged accents and metric changes born out of its guitar-driven relationship with hard rock. |
