![]() Hello, I’m Judy Davies I am a commercial and creative writer and also a poet residing on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi. My commercial work specializes in the medical and legal fields, preparing medical chronologies for use by attorneys and providing technical writing for medical and legal professionals. On the technical side, I functioned for several years in the business world writing and editing articles for professionals including business reports, newspaper columns and college presentations. With a B.A. in English (Otterbein College) and a B.A. in Paralegal Studies (Univ. Southern Miss.) plus 35 years working in the medical field, I am able to meet your writing needs. Creative writing and poetry fit well with my other artistic pursuit, that of music. Composing poetry and short prose on the background of a career as a professional musician, I find that each inspires the other. Some of my poetry has been set to music as art songs by my composer husband, Ken Davies. A combination program of poetry with music that blends poetry writing with music composition is available for school presentations. I have published prose and poetry and won several awards, including the Mississippi Poetry Society - South Branch Poet of the Year and Mississippi Senior Poet Laureate. More music and poetry is in the works, so watch my site for further developments. My poetry book, Poetic Images, is now available, just in time for Christmas shopping. Special introductory price of $12.00 plus $4.00 shipping. Order direct from Kenvad Music & Books by Paypal add-to-cart button below.
